Kaazing and Terracotta Alliance

Kaazing Corporation and Terracotta, Inc have announced that they will enter into a strategic alliance to deliver the most scalable and advanced Web 2.0 applications for financial systems, online gaming, online sports and news broadcasting applications.

Through the alliance Kaazing and Terracotta will collaborate on technology development, marketing and joint sales. Kaazing’s Enteprise Comet is the industry’s most advanced real-time Web 2.0 solution for Java EE.

Terracotta is infrastructure software that provides affordable and scalable high availability for Java applications.

“Online trading, gaming and media applications are perfect use cases for Kaazing’s capability to deliver stateful rich internet applications, and Terracotta will provide the high availability and scalability customers will demand,” says Terracotta co-founder Ari Zilka.

With the alliance Kaazing can now offer their customers highly scalable, advanced real-time Java EE solution capable of powering some of the largest marketplaces in the world.

“We have elected to partner with Terracotta for superior scalability and availability,” said John Fallows, CTO and co-founder of Kaazing Corporation.
