Just today, thousands of people logged onto the internet searching web page after web page to find a way to work from home.. It can be a very difficult chore figuring out what works and what doesn’t.

More often than not, many people are confused and unsuccessful as to how to build their business even after buying expensive internet business training programs. Every time you log on and check your email there is the latest and greatest way to get rich.

Here in lies one of the biggest problems for most trying to develop a business online. They are looking for a magic pill that will spit money out of their computers. Unfortunately many people are mis-directed and mis-guided and waste precious time and money looking for this magic pill.

The magic pill to riches comes down to the fact that there is no magic pill. You need to roll up your sleeves and get to work. One of the ways to succeed quicker is to invest in yourself and find a good internet business training program that will show you how to properly build your business.

Choosing an internet business program comes down to doing your homework on who is providing the training and what is there track record. Another aspect is what kind of support and training are they going to provide.

As you go through the training you will have many questions so you will want to have good support as well.

To build your business online by utilizing an internet business training program, you will want to find out if there are foundational principals that you can follow along with.

One of the first components is setting up your business properly and getting highly organized. You may literally have hundreds of places and resources online that you will need to access. So make sure you take the time in your early days to get yourself organized.

I have found in a survey I did that over 86% of people skip this vital part and jump right into trying to make money.. Information overload sets in and suddenly steals your time as you bounce around the office looking for that password to a site, or trying to figure out the web address of that very helpful site you were on last week.

This is a common problem I have found that many marketers overlook and it hurts their business in a big way. When information overload sets in they tend to spin out of control and end up either quitting or looking for a new way to make money online.

Next up is market research. To succeed online you need to make sure that the training program you decide to invest it offers excellent training in this area. Investing the time to learn how to research a market will provide you the biggest payoff down the road and help you avoid the traps that steal your time.So take a deep breath and spend some time researching to find the right internet business training program.

Look for real testimonials from people that have been through the course and you will save yourself a lot of money and also wasted time.

Last time we had to turn away 1000’s of angry marketers who wanted to take our 16 steps to success training, but they were too slow on the trigger finger of their mouse!

16 Steps to Success Is now open for registration.

Back in April of 2008 we decided to open up our coveted authority site training to the public. Quietly and effectively we have building powerful websites behind the scenes and dominating the search and web 2.0 world.

16 Steps to Success was an internet experience unlike none other ever presented online. We are sick and tired of all the false promises and souped up hype that is sucking most budding entrepreneurs online.

So we shocked the internet marketing world and offered a 16 step by step internet business training program for absolutely zero dollars.

As in totally free!

For all the details go to:

16StepsToSuccess.com

The internet doors of the 16 steps to success have swung wide open again and this time we are going to take 1000 of you and totally transform your online businesses. and help you develop a powerful internet presence.

16StepsToSuccess.com

The training will be taught live over 8 weeks with 2 sessions a day for twice a week. So you can either attend at the 1pmest slot or the 10 pm est slot depending upon where you are on the planet.

So who is this for?

Anyone who wants to build a long term sustainable online business. The average person we had in the last session had been working online for at least 2 years.

If you are new to marketing, all I can say is THANK GOD you are reading this email, because you do not have all the bad habits that most of us pick up from all the confusion online. And for those with experience, your business is about to go through a major transformation when you learn what we are going to teach you over the 8 weeks.

I highly recommend you head over <ahref="http://16stepstosuccess.com">16StepsToSuccess.com right now and secure a spot. When we hit the 1000 mark we are taking down the opt-in form on the site. Last time we took it down after about 7 hours.

It will sell out VERY quickly!

This step by step approach will walk you through each stage of developing your online business in a way that will secure your future online and give you the skill sets and the knowledge to make it happen.

There are reasons that WordPress is the biggest and most popular platform for a website, and there are probably hundreds of reasons to use it. Here are just a few of the most important ones that you should consider:

1. It’s super easy to use.

This is the best reason to use WordPress for your site. Why would you even consider using something that’s far more difficult when WordPress offers everything you could possibly need and makes it easy for you to use?

You don’t need any advanced computer programming skills to use WordPress, just about anyone that can operate a computer can run a WordPress site smoothly.

2. You have so many themes and templates to choose from.

You don’t have to be an advanced web designer to publish an amazing site, because WordPress works as the perfect web designer.

With the hundreds of themes and templates available for you to choose from, you can make your site look polished and professional, whether it’s a site about your pet, your hobby, your business, or absolutely anything you can imagine.

You can choose to make it a running blog site or an online magazine. You won’t find more choices with any platform.

3. WordPress is incredibly flexible.

You can customize WordPress to meet any of your website needs.

Whether you want a static site with multiple pages, a blog site, the perfect CMS system, or a super-polished high-tech appearing site with streaming video and slideshows, WordPress can do the job for you and make it look sweet.

4. Endless options and plug-ins.

When you use WordPress, you have the option of fully customizing your site with endless plug-ins, widgets, and options to make it everything you need.

Use cool plug-ins to get stats, let visitors leave comments, invite trackbacks, include links to recent post listings, bookmarks, maps, absolutely anything to make your site run exactly how you want it to.

5. WordPress helps you get your content indexed

…with easy assignment of tags and categories, and easy ways to manage those things.

Instantly view any of your posts, see what they look like, and review your categories and tags quickly and efficiently to make sure they’re perfect.

6. WordPress is free.

How much more explanation does this point require?

Some say that not only is WordPress free, but it is priceless, too. You could choose to spend a lot of money on software for a platform, but with WordPress being free, that would be silly.

7. WordPress makes you look like a pro

Your site looks polished and well-designed, and all you have to do is type in your thoughts or your content. WordPress does all of the hard work for you.

There are actually other choices for platforms that are available out there. But, these reasons make WordPress better than the rest.

It’s easier to use, nicer looking, and offers more bells and whistles than most of the others.

If you are keeping a blog for your niche market site, you probably know that you have to post regular and relevant content.

You can’t just throw anything up there and expect to be credible and successful.

Here are a few helpful tips to remember when you are posting content to your blog:

1. Think about what the reader is looking for.

By now you know your target audience (or you should) and you need to be providing them with the information that they are looking for.

2. Avoid typos, grammatical errors, and misspellings.

Proofread and edit with a fine-tooth comb. These errors make your writing look unprofessional and sloppy.

3. Use links frequently.

Liberal sprinkling of links into your articles and posts gives your readers even more information.

Don’t worry about endorsing those other sites—if you are a true authority in your site you shouldn’t be threatened by your visitors getting information elsewhere, you’ll have the best information but be supplementing with the extra links.

This is a great strategy for you to network your blog and build your links, too.

4. Don’t carry on endlessly.

Keep your posts short and stick to the point. By doing this, visitors are more likely to return to your site.

Nobody takes the time to read pages and pages of content on the Internet, people want short-and-sweet information.

5. Keywords are important.

Using keywords correctly keeps the search engines happy, increasing your page rankings.

Too many keywords will make your blog look spammy, though.

Find the balance, use them as frequently as possible, just keep a natural flow.

6. Hook your readers with the headline.

Catchy headlines will get your readers to at least scan your post. Make sure the headline gives a little information about the post and makes people want to read it.

7. Keep your writing style conversational.

Don’t get too technical. Think of your readers as your friends, and write accordingly, in a conversational style.

8. Posting regularly can be time consuming.

If you don’t have time to write your own original, useful, and valuable post, share an article that someone else wrote, perhaps a video clip that fits your niche, or a book review.

Linking to other people’s information and blog sites, I repeat, is very good for your site.

9. It’s perfectly okay for a blog posting to be based on your opinion.

The thing about blogs is, readers know they are written by real people—it’s supposed to be your opinion, advice, or some communication from a person, not a company.

10. Use bullet points or numbered lists.

This makes your post easy to scan, and since you are including links (see item number 3 on this list) people can get more information on exactly what they need by clicking the links they need.

It’s not hard to keep your blog going regularly and to keep it interesting.

These tips are just a few of the simple ways to keep your readers coming back for more.

If you are writing a regular blog with frequent posts, how can you get your readers to keep coming back for more?

How can you hook them into reading your posts, clicking on your links, returning regularly to your site, and ultimately purchasing your goods or services?

Here are 5 helpful tips and strategies to get you moving toward writing those killer headlines that will hook your visitors and leave them wanting for more:

1. Tell a secret to your visitors.

Or at least suggest that you’re about to tell one. Seriously, there’s nobody that can resist this type of headline. “The Secret to Killer Headline Writing” will get your readers interested. “The Secret to Making More Money While Working Less” is definitely a keeper, too. Nobody will pass that up!

2. Remember that social pressure still works wonders.

Try something like, “What Everyone Should Know About Teeth Whiteners,” “Natural Solutions for Fighting Adult Acne” or “What Your Mortgage Broker is Not Telling You” will make them very curious.

Your visitors want to feel like they are getting information from you that they can’t get somewhere else. Making your readers feel like it’s important information, that it will make their lives better, that they can’t live without it, and that everyone would want to know this will make them keep reading.

3. Similarly, suggesting that your readers need some sort of improvement in an area of their life will reel them in.

“Get Your Body Back In Shape Now” or “Quit Waiting For That Promotion” are both lead-ins that few readers can refuse to peek at.

4. Try offering your visitors lists of important tips, like a Top 5 or Top 10 list.

“The Top 10 Reasons to Try Health Tourism” tells your readers that you’re on top of the issues they are interested in. This will instantly let your reader know that there is quick and useful information to follow.

Readers don’t like to sift through endless pages of prose to get to the meat-and-potatoes part of your post. Bulleting a list of the top tips will help you keep their interest.

5. Ask an interesting question, and suggest that you are about to provide an amazing answer to that question.

Try using something like, “Why Write Great Blog Headlines?” or “Should You Be Worried About Your Child’s Weight?”

Great headlines for your blog posts are important for gaining and keeping your visitor’s interest.

Without having a good hook right at the start, they might just as well click to another site—and they will.

The longer that you can keep them on your site, the more likely they are to return, making them more likely to eventually be sending some funds your way, whether by eventually purchasing from you or clicking on some of your affiliate ads.

Every visitor counts, don’t let any slip by because of your dull and lifeless headlines!

What are some of your favorite headlines? Any strategies that you’ve come up with to hook your readers in?

The most important thing you need to do before beginning your blog is choosing your topic.

The topic you finally do select is so important, because you don’t want to get tired of thinking about it or run out of things to say.

Remember when you are trying to find a blog topic for everyday blogging that you will have to constantly be coming up with fresh and relevant content, so be careful to choose something you are interested in already or very interested in learning a lot more about.

How can you choose a great blog topic?

There are several things you can consider when you are brainstorming to choose the perfect topic for your blog: Do you have a particular hobby or special interest?

Are you really into digital photography, scrap booking, woodworking, or some other craft?

Do you enjoy bird watching, stamp collecting, or astrology?

Maybe you are really into pets—regular pets like dogs and cats can give you lots to blog on.

Not to mention the more unusual pets like reptiles, rodents, tarantulas, pot-bellied pigs, or hermit crabs.

Sports enthusiasts can offer continuous commentary on current events as well as sports history.

How about blogging about dining out—review every restaurant you can find!

These are some very popular topics that you can write nearly endlessly about. Do you have a special trade, career, or job training that offers you access to useful information?

If you’re an investment or mortgage broker, offer some advice on investing money or making it! People are always looking for information about fitness, nutrition, or real estate, too. How about considering your personal life experiences for material? Are you a seasoned world traveler who’s been to every continent?

A you a war veteran? A recovering alcoholic or drug addict? Perhaps you’ve survived cancer and want to support others during their battle.

Parents can offer other new parents a wealth of knowledge, too. Don’t forget that many adults these days are caring for elderly parents while balancing young families — plenty of material can be found in your very own personal experiences, and sharing these experiences may help others going through similar fights.

When you are trying to find a blog topic for everyday blogging, the sky’s basically the limit. Pretty much any topic works, as long as it works for you.

Start by taking a good hard look at your life, your interests, your training, your experiences, virtually every aspect of your life, and then imagine yourself posting about that topic regularly—if not every day, then at least several times a week if you want your blog to get some measurable traffic.

Blogging about one of your favorite topics can really be a great experience—think about it, not only do you get to share your information and passion, but, in the process, you will continue to learn more yourself as you do the research and read other people’s blogs along the way!

Working from home can be a very attractive option.

Just think of the time you can save if you don’t commute, never mind the outrageous gasoline prices these days! Working from home can offer you more time with family, and more time for yourself, as well as flexibility that’s just not available in traditional office jobs.

Working at home is not for everyone; however, and it’s important to consider some of the pros and cons of balancing business and family when you work from home.

People who work at home, especially if you are running your own business, should establish some clear “ground rules” to live by.

Enforcing these rules with yourself and your family can be tricky, but it’s important to keep balance and structure or both work and family will suffer.

There are several important angles to cover in your “ground rules,” consider these for starters:

1. Discipline.

You will need a lot of it to keep yourself focused on the tasks for work and home.

Keeping them separate takes a lot of effort—set aside time for work, and actually work during that time. Set aside time for your family, and actually spend time with the family during that time.

2. Space.

Try to keep work space separate from family space. This will help you keep focused on work when you are working, as well as keeping your work out of the way of your family life when you are not working.

Also, if you have small children or pets, then you can more easily keep your work organized if it has its own special area.

3. Time Management.

This is a critical aspect of balancing work and family. When you work from home, it’s extremely easy to become distracted by the responsibilities of home life.

Making daily and weekly “to-do” lists for both home and work can really help you get the important things done in a timely manner.

4. Delegate.

Balancing home and work is not the responsibility of one person in the family.

Everyone needs to chip in and help. Even small children can shoulder small responsibilities, and should be expected to.

Families operate like businesses, every member should have their own ‘job description.’ Many hands make light work!

5. Take a Break.

The balancing of work and family is not always easy.

Sometimes you need to just cut yourself some slack and take a break. Being the perfect parent, spouse, and entrepreneur is a tough combination, and there will be days that it just doesn’t work or feel right.

Take a deep breath and relax, and focus on what’s really important to you.

Juggling work and family is a challenge for anyone.

Working from home makes that challenge easier for some and harder for others.

Take a good hard look at what kind of job you are looking for, and what the needs of your family are.

Families that can work together toward a common goal often accomplish more than they ever imagine!

It’s becoming easier and easier to make money using your blog.

Great bloggers just keep coming up with ways to score a few bucks—or a lot—and it really adds up.

The secret to making money with your blog is that some of the methods will earn you large amounts of money, and some will earn you only pennies at a time, but it all adds up.

Keeping up with all of the strategies gives you an opportunity to add up considerable amounts of dough.

1. Advertising

This is probably the easiest and most common way for bloggers to make money online. Using a program like Google Adsense, relevant ads are placed on your site, and you get paid anywhere from a few cents to a few bucks for every time a visitor clicks through.

2. Affiliate Programs

Joining affiliate programs allows you to promote someone else’s product and then receive a commission when you encourage them to buy. Having a link on your site that a visitor clicks through uses a cookie to track whether they return for a purchase or not.

If so, you just made some cash—some affiliates pay up to 15% commission.

3. Ask for Donations

You’d probably be surprised how much money you can get just by asking for it. Asking for a small donation to keep your very informative site running smoothly will land you a sizable nest egg.

Set it up using PayPal, and watch the voluntary contributions pour in.

4. Sell Something

Actually selling a product or service is an obvious way for you to make money using your blog. Some choose to peddle ebooks, others may sell tshirts or buttons. Still others may market themselves as blog advisors. Whatever you can think of, there’s likely to be a market for it.

5. Hire Yourself Out

If you’re a good writer, and you’re keeping up a decent blog, people will take notice. Chances are you will be asked at some point to contribute to other blogs, either by using your own name or selling your posts ghostwritten.

Writing a blog is a time-consuming process that not everyone is good at. If you’ve got it, flaunt it!

Take a look at Bloggers For Hire if you think you’d like this sort of work.

Non-blogging writing opportunities are just as common, as bloggers have become a much-sought-out bunch of business people in today’s world. Contributing to magazines or newspapers from a blogger’s perspective can be another opportunity.

6. Consulting

Maintaining a successful blog that is making money is a talent.

If you are able to do so, then you are the type of entrepreneur (a leader in your niche) that novices will turn to for advice.

7. Teach Others

Develop an online training or video with some advice or write an ebook with tips and tricks.

Good advice is worth money to a lot of people!

Everybody is busy, but why is it that some people seem to just get so much more done, pack so much into one day?

Some people are just better at basic time management. Simply taking control of your time and managing it well can result in you getting much more done each day and having more time to enjoy the finer things in life (other than work!).

People working from home face unique challenges, ones that are not relevant in your typical cubicle.

In an office setting, there are no children to watch, fewer personal calls, fewer errands, no loads of laundry to change, no couch to relax on. Tackling these tasks while also maintaining work productivity is no small chore.

Once you get into a good groove, however, working from home offers so many benefits that you’ll never want to return to a regular office job.

Several time management secrets that can help you stay focused on the tasks you need to finish for work:

1. Make daily and weekly “to-do” lists.

Surveys have shown that the average person can conquer seven major tasks in a day. Start each work day by making a list of the seven most important things you need to finish that day.

Keep a separate running list of bigger tasks, or less important “fillers” that you can work in over the course of a week as you clear time. Each day, focus on what “must” be done, then work on the next most important things, and so on.

2. Make time management a habit.

Stick to your lists. Try to work regular hours, whatever those hours might be that work for you.

Nobody says you have to work ‘9-to-5,’ but keeping a regular routine will keep you on task for a higher percentage of the time.

3. Plan accordingly.

Schedule your biggest tasks (or the ones that demand the most attention) for times when you know you are at your best. Save smaller and easier tasks for times that you know you might be dragging a bit. Whether you’re a morning person or a night owl, use your energy resources wisely.

4. Avoid the email trap.

Plan on checking your email only 3-4 times per day.

Avoid checking it every 5 minutes, this is a huge time-waster.

When you do check, address things immediately whenever possible. Using an electronic filing system for your email allows you to keep a separate file of “Attention” items and helps you keep your inbox empty. (Remember to save a few forwarded jokes to read when you have a little down time.)

5. Don’t drown in paper.

The best time managers vow to “touch each paper only once.”

Either file it away if it’s important, or toss it immediately. Addressing things as they arrive helps keep you from becoming overwhelmed, which can happen very quickly!

Above all, set realistic goals for yourself and be flexible.

Time is very valuable.

It’s important to plan some time for yourself and really allow yourself to relax for at least part of every day. You’ll get more done in the long run when you clear your mind and rest your body!

Podcasting is the term used for broadcasting through websites, with direct or streaming content.

The first podcasts were developed for the iPod, and were files that could be downloaded to the iPod for distribution. The first podcasts were radio interviews and audio programs, but podcasts now include classroom lessons, walking tours, meetings, and public safety messages.

The term podcast quickly became common for any digital media video formats.

Podcasts can be subscribed to, and users can automatically receive updates through feed readers like RSS.

This makes it different than your average digital video formats. One of the most popular applications currently is in the classroom, where teachers can broadcast lessons and assignments, and students can return projects and presentations in this format.

As a webmaster, how can you use podcasting for your website?

Well, having the latest techie formats is one way to stand out in a crowd. Using it properly and effectively is important, don’t think of it just as a buzz word to be tossed around. Providing rich content, in a variety of formats, makes your site more attractive to more people.

Having an RSS feed to distribute your content gives users control over how much information they want to collect. If you are going to become a podcaster, here are a few tips to get you started.

Have the right equipment.

Get a good microphone if you are going to record your voice, or music, or anything.

Distortion is unpleasant to listen to, and, I guarantee that you will instantly turn your listeners away if it sounds bad.

It’s pretty likely you’ll need to get a different microphone than the one installed in your computer if you want a high-quality podcast. Know how to use the equipment. Again, don’t get too close, don’t stay too far away from the microphone.

Prepare what you will say. Don’t just sit there and ramble.

You don’t need a formal script, chances are that will sound very unnatural anyway. But, you have to try and avoid excess filler words like “um” and “ah” if you want to sound professional.

Practice recording yourself and playing it back before you broadcast yourself all over the Internet. Speak slowly and clearly, try and relax as if you were speaking to your friends.

Reduce background noise.

Record your podcast in a quiet location, away from extraneous background noise. Any background noise will be picked up, and you will lose sound quality in your recording.

Think of background noise as sounds outside your window, people in the office next door, even the fan from your own computer.

Keep your podcasts short, leave your listeners wanting more.

Plan your podcasts on a schedule for best results. Giving important information a little bit at a time will keep listeners returning to hear what you have to say next.

These are just a few simple tips to get you started with your podcasting.

Get yourself up and running with this latest techie technique, and stay on the cutting edge of the Internet world!
